This was more of a party than a movie but did give a nice glimpse into the stereotypical motorcycle club life of the 1960's. Perhaps monster movies weren't bringing in the revenue Hollywood wanted so they thought they would try something new by demonizing bikers. The club president is a great character in this movie, his conscious constantly torn between being a good guy or just not giving a damn. He has a soft spot for the latter. There is a lot of pot smoking and beer drinking, which I never realized was so prevalent in films prior to the 70's. Lots of interesting characters kept this movie rolling along.
